(Oral) The allegations against petitioner Sanjay in this regular bail application under section 439 Cr.P.C. are that on 26.5.2016 he was found in illegal possession of 01 kg of charas, a non-commercial quantity. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 26.05.2016 and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future, this Court is of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner in the present case is not warranted. Accordingly, he is ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Jind.
