(Oral) The allegations against the petitioner in this regular bail application are that on 13.12.2013, 40 bags of explosive powder and 5 bags of detonator cotex wire were recovered by the police from vehicle bearing registration No. HR-38-P-1043 owned by Jamil Ahmed son of Akhtar. The only allegations as has been contended by counsel for the petitioner against the petitioner are that it was subsequently on the statement of co-accused Jamil, name of the petitioner has cropped up after 3/4 days and that the petitioner has been arrested on 29.5.2015 and nothing has been recovered from him.

Without adverting to the merits of the case, in the light of the fact that trial is not likely to conclude in the near future, this Court is of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner in the present case is not DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2015.12.17 14:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
