Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner(s) in case FIR No. 68 dated 16.7.2017, registered under Section(s) 302, 364, 323, 148 & 149 IPC at Police Station Sadar Abohar, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that as per first version available on the file, petitioners have no role in causing death of Ranjit Singh and there was no injury on his body. Having considered the fact that case is still at investigating stage and petitioners are specifically named and assigned the role as the deceased was allegedly picked up by them and they would be required for the purpose of custodial interrogation. Hence, the present petition stands dismissed.
