The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 51 dated 23.05.2021, under Section 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Bhikhiwind, Tehsil Patti, District Tarn Taran, Punjab (Annexure P-2).

Status report by way of an affidavit of Mr. Preetinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Valtoha, Camp at Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondent-State in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions, according to which the petitioner has been arrested on 29.04.2024 in the present FIR, therefore, nothing survives in the present petition and as such the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
