Dated Police Station Sections 28.11.2022 Police Station, S.V.B. Gurugram 409, 418, 420, 467, 468, 120B, IPC and 13(1)(C), 13(1)(d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 Aggrieved by the registration of FIR captioned above, the accused has come up before this court under section 482 CrPC for its quashing and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

I have heard counsel for the petitioner for sufficient time. 3.
State counsel on instructions from Investigator-Jai Chand who is present in Court submits that the evidence in the case is documentary in nature which is voluminous and State needs time to complete the investigation. He further submits that launch of prosecution against the petitioner shall depend upon the evidence if comes against him. Moreover, this is not a stage to say that the petitioner is innocent or not as they need at least four months to complete the investigation.

Faced with the situation, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition and prayed for direction to investigator to complete investigation in a time bound manner.

Given above, State to make efforts to complete the investigation within a period of 03 months. In case, State chooses to launch prosecution against the petitioner, in that case, Investigator shall supply complete copy of report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. to the petitioner against proper receipt, and such supply shall be deemed compliance of Section 207 Cr.P.C. in advance. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to come up before this Court again after the completion of investigation.

Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the above-said observations.
