The grievance raised by the petitioners in the writ petition was that their salary had been reduced without giving any opportunity of hearing. 3.
The respondents gave a statement before the writ Court that the order, vide which the salary had been reduced be treated as withdrawn. It was also stated that the department would pass a fresh order in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 4.
The writ petition was accordingly disposed of. 5.
In compliance of the directions issued by the writ Court on the basis of the statement given, speaking order dated 22.04.2025 was passed. The grievance of the petitioners is that the salary for the intervening period has not been paid and instead recoveries are being made. 6.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, DDA (Headquarters), Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, submits that the requisite payment shall be released within a period of four weeks, subject to the rights of recovery, in accordance with law. 8.
