SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C is for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to ensure life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6. Reply by way of affidavit dated 05.12.2017 of Ravinderpal Singh, PPS, DSP, Sub Division Ajnala, Amritsar Rural has already been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. In para 5 of the reply, it is stated that no such occurrence had ever taken place and the matter has been duly inquired into. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
