Seeking fair and impartial inquiry of FIR No.0039 dated 19.05.2022 registered under Sections 307, 323, 148, 149 IPC and 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act, at Police Station Ghall Khurd, District Firozpur, the petitioner has come up before this Court. 2.

Notices are served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of official respondents nor the issuance of notices to the private respondents is required. 3.

The petitioner's counsel wants to withdraw the main petition with a direction that in case, they file a fresh representation to the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police, the same be decided in a time bound manner.

Given the petitioner's stand, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that in case, the petitioner files a fresh representation within one month from today, the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police, either personally or authorize Deputy Superintendent of Police who is already conducting the inquiry, shall decide the same within two months from the date of filing of representation. It is clarified that such order must be a reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the representationists without delay. 5.

Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition or to take other legal remedies in accordance with the law, in case the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome. 6.

It is clarified that there is no adjudication on merits and this order shall not come in the way if the interrogation of the petitioner is required in any cognizable case. It is further clarified that all the representations mentioned in the present petition, which are pending as on date, are treated to be closed.
