**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 133 dated 15.8.2016 registered at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga under Sections 306, 34 IPC.

Petitioner is in custody since 16.8.2016. Challan has been presented. The allegations are that Palak went to her college on 13.8.2016 at 8.00 A.M. but did not return. The allegations are that Palak was friendly with Manpreet Kaur who was studying in the same college. Manpreet introduced Palak to her cousin Satnam Singh. Both of them were having an affair for the last 6-7 months. The allegations are that Manpreet developed illicit relations with Satnam Singh and thereafter Satnam Singh refused to marry Palak and on 13.8.2016, Palak did not go to her college and she was taken by Satnam Singh and Manpreet Kaur near a Gurudwara. An altercation ensued and Satnam Singh refused to marry her and Palak jumped into the canal.

Crl. Misc. No. M-36619 of 2016 -2Palak was missing from the house on 13.8.2016. No suicide note was left. The FIR had been lodged on 15.8.2016. No missing report was lodged by the father. There are no allegation in the FIR regarding abetment. The petitioner was a friend of Palak. The trial Court take time. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on her furnishing local surety and adequate bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
