In the present protection petition, on 20.04.2023, after hearing counsel for the petitioner, following order was passed:- "CRWP No. 3739-2023 1.

Petitioner- Jyoti, aged more than 17 years has been filed the instant petition through her next friend, namely, Shivam, aged 20 years for seeking direction to protect her life and personal liberty, which is stated to be at danger at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the private respondents are family members of the petitioner. He submits that family members of the petitioner are pressurizing and forcing the petitioner to marry with some unknown person against her wish. 3.

Counsel further submits that in fact for the last about 3 years, she has good friendly relation with one Shivam, aged 20 years, s/o Beta Ram, resident of Village Mandi Ladukha, District Fazilka. Thus, counsel submits that because of undue pressure by the family members of the petitioner, she has approached this Court. 4.

Counsel further submits that already one representation (Annexure P-3) has been submitted to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, but no heed is being paid by JAWALA RAM 2023.05.25 18:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Notice of motion for 24.05.2023.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Anmol Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. Respondents No. 4 to 7 would also be informed in writing for the next date of hearing fixed before this Court through respondent No.3- Station House Officer, Police Station Mandi Lahukha, District Fazilka.

Respondent No. 4 is directed to remain present in the Court on the next date of hearing fixed before this Court. 7.

Official respondents may also choose to file response (if any) on or before the next date of hearing." 2.

Today, on the very outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that as per instructions received by him from the petitioner i.e. from Jyoti herself, the issue involved therein has already been settled amicably between the petitioner on the one side, and her other family members i.e. respondents No.4 to 7. Therefore, counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of present petition.

Disposed as having been withdrawn.
