(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to decide the representation dated 22.02.2024 (Annexure P1) rectifying the interlock lining work in the village Kokri Heran, District Moga, Punjab that has elevated the level of streets and consequently created sewerage dump and accumulation of rain water in the petitioner's house as well as in the adjoining houses which is causing mental/physical harassment and stress to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner be granted liberty to file appropriate representation before respondent No.5 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Moga, Punjab and he be directed to decide the same expeditiously. Notice of motion.

CWP No.9634 of 2024 -22024:PHHC:057604 On asking of the Court, Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondentsState. He has submitted that if the petitioner files any such representation before respondent No.5 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Moga, Punjab, then respondent No.5 would decide the same expeditiously. After hearing both the parties and perusing the record, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file his appropriate representation before respondent No.5 as prayed for within a week from today. If any such representation is filed by the petitioner within the stipulated period, then respondent No.5 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Moga, Punjab is directed to decide the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of its filing.
