HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) 1.
The instant revision petition has been preferred by the petitioner for setting-aside the judgment of conviction and order on quantum of sentence dated 26.07.2007 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, in a complaint filed under Section 276C(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for the Assessment Year, 198384, as well as the judgment dated 06.11.2008 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar.
2.
The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The situation was not different even on the last four dates of hearing. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
3.
In view of the above, having left with no other option, present revision petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. (HARPREET SINGH BRAR) JUDGE 18.03.2025 yakub Whether speaking/reasoned:
