Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to the land dispute with respondents No.4 and 5, they are giving threats to life and liberty of the petitioner. A representation (Annexure P-1) was made to this effect to Superintendent of Police, Karnal but no action was taken. In view of submission of counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal to look into the representation Annexure P-1 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted to provide protection to the petitioner from any legal action to be taken against him in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated under the order of any competent authority in accordance with law.
