Certiorari for quashing impugned order dated 20.03.2024 (Annexure P-19) qua the petitioner passed by respondent No.5, whereby the claim of petitioner to allot/restore the land measuring 13.25 acres of land in the name of Harnam Kaur on account of reward for the services rendered by her deceased husband and further to release 10000 Pounds to which her husband was entitled being Ex-prisoner of Japanese has been rejected.

1.1 A further prayer has been made seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 4 to consider and allot/restore the land measuring 13.25 acres in the name of Harnam Kaur on account of reward for services rendered by her deceased husband and further to release 10000 pounds to which her husband was entitled being Ex-Prisoner of Japanese.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his other remedies available under the law. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
