ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.23 dated 16.03.2016 registered under Sections 323, 336, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC and 25 and 27 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, in pursuance to the order dated 28.11.2016, has already appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Harbans Singh, has not disputed the factual position and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 08.04.2018 and is no more required for any further investigation. It is further submitted that as per the verification from SHO Sadar Dabwali, the petitioner is not having any licensed weapon.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 28.11.2016 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
