ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing Kalandra i.e. DDR No. 18 dated 23.04.2012 (Annexure P-8) registered under Section 66 of the Punjab Police Act, 2007 at Police Station Jamalpur, District Ludhiana and the order dated 30.04.2013 (Annexure P-10) passed by the trial Court declaring the petitioner as proclaimed offender.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 30.04.2013 (Annexure P-10) passed by the trial Court, the petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender. Thereafter, she surrenders before the trial Court and was released on bail. Now, vide judgment dated 20.08.2021, the petitioner was acquitted by the trial Court. Therefore, learned counsel submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
