(Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 26.06.2020 qua the petitioner (Annexure P-1) whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be transferred from Medical Hospital (Army), Jalandhar to 158 BH (Bagdogra) without considering the difficulties faced by the petitioner because of his aged physically ill parents where the petitioner is the only son, along with certain other prayers.

The counsel for respondents-UOI has submitted that the petitioner has retired from the service.

Even the counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the fact. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
