(Oral) This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent No 4 to 6. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Inderjit Singh has informed the Court that statement of the petitioners have been recorded to the effect that they do no require any protection and are living happily. He has also given their affidavits (in Punjabi) to this effect.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
