$% "& Today accused Prince Vaid has appeared and has filed his affidavit to vouch for the credibility of statement made earlier during compromise on his behalf by his mother Kiran Vaid and that he stands by the statement and the compromise was arrived at which was made in his absence while he was abroad. The same is taken on record on oral prayer.

  statements of complainant Priya Verma and the accused persons namely Kiran Vaid, Sham Sunder Vaid and Prince Vaid, the Court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise has been arrived at voluntarily, out of free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure.

Heard.

In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court, being a pure matrimonial dispute, the fact that compromise which has been duly vouched for by accused Prince Vaid, husband of the complainant, will go a long way in ironing out differences for betterment of future life of the parties and in view of the law laid down in '()*#(*+,-#.)./  0*1)2)*3)*.,/4!

 $ the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No.94 dated 23.11.2012 (Annexure P1) registered at Police Station Ahmedgarh, District Sangrur under Sections 406/498A/120B IPC and all consequences arising out of the said FIR are quashed.

The petition stands allowed in those terms.
