Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Petitioner has preferred the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.16 dated 19.01.2021, registered under Sections 363, 366-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Section 376 IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act added later on vide G.D.No.60 dated 31.05.2021), at Police Station City Jalalabad, District Fazilka.

Vide order dated 09.06.2021, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Amarjeet Kaur, informs the Court that in pursuance to the same, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further custodial interrogation. In view of the same, the interim order dated 09.06.2021 is made absolute.

Petition stands allowed.
