******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in complaint case No. 178-2, dated 18.05.2013, titled as 'Mukhtiar Chand vs. Harkrishan Lal, for offences punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act, pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Jalalabad, District Fazilka.

Respondent no. 2 has not appeared despite service. Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court and has been allowed interim bail as per order dated 03.02.2017.
