**** NIDHI GUPTA , J. (Oral) Present appeal is of the year 2019. On 23.05.2019 and 26.08.2019, the matter was adjourned at request of the learned counsel for the appellant. Thereafter, on 12.09.2019, following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the appellant submits that as the parties belong to the same village, there is a possibility of an amicable resolution of the dispute.

Notice of motion for 03.12.2019 limited to the extent of exploring the possibility of an amicable resolution of the dispute."

Thereafter, on 03.12.2019, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant; and the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. On 18.04.2023, again there was no representation on behalf of the appellant and Registry was directed to inform learned counsel for the appellant about the date fixed. RSA-2627-2019 (O&M) -2- report, learned counsel for the appellant had been duly informed about the next date of hearing. Even on the last date of hearing i.e. 19.03.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Today also, no one appears on behalf of the appellant.

A bare reading of the above facts shows that the appellant has exhibited an utterly casual attitude in his pursuit of the present litigation. It is to be appreciated that very valuable public time of the Court has been expended in affording opportunities to the appellant in the interest of justice. On the other hand, the appellant has adopted an utterly casual and careless approach. It is clear that neither the appellant nor his counsel is seriously interested in pursuing the present matter. Thus, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the same for non-prosecution. 4.

Ordered accordingly.
