RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) By this common order, I shall dispose of above-titled two petitions under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to petitioners, namely, Baljinder Singh @ Billa and Amarjeet Singh @ Amru in a case arising from FIR No.29 dated 10.04.2016 registered under Sections 395, 397 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Ajitwal, District Moga.

-2CRM-M-36931 of 2018 complainant has not supported the prosecution story. FIR was lodged against unknown persons. Petitioners Baljinder Singh @ Billa and Amarjeet Singh @ Amru are in custody since 15.06.2018 and 26.2.2018, respectively. Conclusion of trial may take a sufficient long time. No useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioners any more in jail. On the other hand, learned State counsel vehemently opposed the grant of regular bail to the petitioners. Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petitions are allowed. Consequently, petitioners are ordered to be released on bail during pendency of trial, on their furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
