Petitioners Prabhdeep Kaur, Guneet Kaur and Harneet Singh have filed a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No. 2 to 5 to give adequate protection to the petitioners whose lives and liberty are in imminent danger in the hands of respondents No. 6 and 7. The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3-Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, to look into the grievances of the petitioners as contained in representation Annexure P-5 and if he finds that some action in the matter is required to be taken then needful be done in accordance with law at the earliest.
