[2] This petition was filed seeking directions to the official respondents to thoroughly investigate FIR No. 234, dated 25th May, 2021 under Sections 452/365/336/379/323/506/148/149 of IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Kotwali, Patiala. Further prayer is that life and liberty of the petitioner be protected. It would be apt to note that there is cross-version in the case.
[3] Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time and realizing that there is efficacious remedy under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, does not press the first prayer. CRWP-5269-2021 to apprehension of threat perception, it is submitted that there is a subsequent event on 18th June, 2021 for which FIR has already been registered. She seeks permission to make a fresh representation for protection of life and liberty detailing subsequent incidents also. [4] Ms. Monika Jalota, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab appears on advance notice. She submits that in case such a representation is made, the same would be dealt with expeditiously. [5] The petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for. [6] In case petitioner makes a representation within one week from today, the same shall be considered as expeditiously as possible and in any case not later than 20th July, 2021.
