**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for issuing directions to respondent Nos.1 & 2 to enquire into the matter in case FIR No.31 dated 27.06.2017 under Sections 376 IPC, registered at Police Station Women, Kurukshetra.

A status report has been filed by way of affidavit of Tanya HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

As per the said affidavit, the matter was investigated and statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was got recorded. The Manager of the Hotel namely Ajay Kumar was also joined in the investigation and one Balwan Singh was arrested on 08.08.2017. On completion of investigation, a report under Section 173 Cr.P.C was prepared and submitted before the learned Court of Illaqa Magistrate on 09.09.2017 and the matter was committed to Special Sessions Court at Kurukshetra for trial. In view of the matter that the investigation has completed and evidence of the prosecution has started, no further orders are called for in the instant petition.

However, it is open to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy available to him under the law.
