1 2 # $  is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside order dated 10.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.3, vide which the representation submitted by the petitioner against the adverse remarks recorded in the Annual Confidential Report (ACR) for the period 01.04.2017 to 22.07.2017, has been rejected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a mercy petition before respondent No.1, which is still pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied, if a direction is given to respondent No.1 to decide the mercy petition submitted by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.
