Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer to quash/set aside the order dated 18.02.2022 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Batala, along with further prayer to quash the FIR No.0107 dated 06.05.2022 (Annexure P-14), registered under Sections 119, 166, 166A IPC and Sections 7 & 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Amendment Act, 2018) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are two divergent views of the Benches of Hon'ble Supreme Court, hence the matter is now referred to the Larger Bench. He further submits that he would like to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh after the decision of the JYOTI 2026.02.12 16:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
