**** JITENDRA CHAUHAN, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing in the light of the pandemic COVID-19 situation and as per instructions. This Contempt petition under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 has been filed for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 22.11.2019 (Annexure P-1) passed in CWP No. 34028 of 2019 titled as Sushil Kaur Versus State of Punjab and others. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been appointed, as such, the order dated 22.11.2019 stands complied with. In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, no cause of action survives and the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
