*** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Group 'C' against the post reserved for the eligible sports person. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner applied for the post of Group-C post and at the time of scrutiny of documents, her candidature was orally rejected on the ground that her sports gradation certificate dated 23.7.2015 (Annexure P-2) was as per 1993 policy and ought to have been as per new policy.

Petitioner pleads that in the advertisement, no such condition/requirement of producing certificate as per fresh policy was mentioned. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has sports gradation certificate of C-11 category in accordance with the instructions dated 30.11.1993.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and strenuously opposes the writ petition. She submits that claim of the VANDANA 2022.04.06 19:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.

petitioner is covered against her keeping in view the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No.1332-2019. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and gone through the case file.

Controversy involved in the present writ petition is no more res integra.

Disposed of in view of Division Bench judgment rendered in LPA No. 1332 of 2019.
