Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for protection to the petitioner, who is getting threat from the accused named in the FIR No. 160 dated 05.06.2018, registered at Police Station Division No. 7, Ludhiana.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the grievances of the petitioner as put-forth by learned counsel for the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Qua other relief sought by petitioner, he will be at liberty to avail other remedies available to him and to file fresh petition if the need so arise.
