The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to decide the representation dated 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-6) by protecting the life and liberty to the petitioner and not to harass the petitioner at the behest of respondent No.3. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievance, the petitioner has filed representation 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken thereon till date. 3.

Notice of motion.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the representation 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-6) filed by the petitioner qua the threat perception in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and TRIPTI SAINI 2026.03.25 16:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-3388-2026 (O&M) -2to grant immediate protection, if any threat to the life and liberty to the petitioner, is perceived. It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner for legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by them.
