The petitioner seeks the concession of regular bail in a case registered at the instance of Incharge of Police Station of the area Umed Singh alleging that on a raid conducted by the police at his house, he facilitated the escape of an accused from the spot. The petitioner along with Jaswant Singh and other family members had alleged obstructed the police party from performing the official duties. Co-accused of the petitioner Jaswant Singh has been granted bail by this court. On the principle of parity, taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 3.9.2016; recoveries having been made, the petitioner can be granted the concession of bail.

The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of CJM, Hisar. He will not indulge in the similar activity, of which he is accused of , during pendency of the trial.
