The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.01.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-829-2025, whereby respondents were directed to consider the grievance put forth by the petitioner in legal notices dated 29.07.2024 and 24.08.2024.

In compliance of the order dated 15.01.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-829-2025, learned counsel for the respondent has produced a copy of speaking order dated 08.08.2025 passed by the Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Nawanshahr. In view of the above, since order dated 15.01.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-829-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 4.

Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order dated 08.08.2025 passed by the Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Nawanshahr.
