.....Petitioners versus Tejveer Singh and others .....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE Present :

Mr. J.S.Warring, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Vipin Pal Yadav, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab for respondents No.1,2 and 4.

The reply is accompanied by an order dated 15.04.2025 (Annexure R-3/1) which is an order passed by the respondents in compliance of the order dated 23.10.2024 passed in Civil Writ Petition No. 28692 of 2024. Since compliance of the order dated 23.10.2024 has been made beyond the period of three months prescribed by this Court, the petitioners have been thus compelled to approach this Court by filing this contempt petition where considerable time of this Court has been wasted which could have been utilized in deciding more pressing matters and therefore, respondents are directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- as costs to the petitioners for being compelled to initiate this avoidable piece of litigation. Since compliance of the order dated 23.10.2024 has been made by passing a speaking order (Annexure R-3/1), the present contempt petition stands disposed of.
