RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Harjit Singh, ASI, submits that since the investigation is already over and thereafter, even the report under Section 173 (2) Cr.P.C, has already been presented to the learned court of competent jurisdiction, instant petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of, as such.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioners also fairly states that let the present petition be disposed of, in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State, but liberty may be granted to the petitioners to pursue their other remedies, in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.
