*** Learned State counsel submits that status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sultanpur Lodhi, District Kapurthala has been filed. On instructions from HC Kashmir Singh learned State counsel states that after completion of investigation a cancellation report has been prepared and filed in the Court of Ilaqa Magistrate, Sultanpur Lodhi. The present petitioner may appear there and file protest petition which can be decided in accordance with law. Therefore, no further action in the matter is called for.

The petition stands dismissed.
