The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.24 dated 5.3.2019 under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC, Police Station Khanna, District Ludhiana.

During the proceeding of this petition, the parties were referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court which has yielded results and the parties have amicably resolved their issues and shall be filing a petition for dissolution of marriage by mutual consent. A copy of settlement agreement dated 25.9.2019 shows that the parties have also agreed for getting the present FIR quashed.
