The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.13 dated 04.04.2019 registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 109 IPC registered at Police Station Women Cell, Bathinda.

Mr. Sidhu, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Divij Dutta, Advocate appearing for the petitioners would contend that by an order dated 23.05.2019, the Court had directed the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, while directing that no coercive steps be taken against the petitioners. Pursuant to that order, the petitioners herein were also directed to put in appearance before the Investigating Officer on 05.03.2020, however, the matter stands compromised and the quashing petition has been filed in CRM-M No.16857 of 2021, which is now listed for hearing on 24.11.2021.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. 4.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.
In view of the fact that the petitioners have joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 05.03.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
