*** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent Nos. 4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the age of petitioner No 1 is about 24 years and her date of birth is 09.05.1997, as per her Aadhar card (P-1). The date of birth of petitioner No. 2 is 19.09.1996, as per his aadhar card (P-2). Both the petitioners are major and have solemnized marriage on 03.06.2021 as per their own will and desire. This petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, District Mohali, for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab, who will look into their representation dated 03.06.2021 (P-5).
