The petition in hand has been preferred under 226 of the Constitution of India with the following substantive prayer(s):- '1). Issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondent No. 5 to 9 and for not harassing the petitioner and not given beatings on any false criminal complaint, if any lodged by the private respondent or any of the their relatives. ii). It is further prayed that directions may be issued to official respondent to decide the representation dated 22.03.2026 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioners, in the interest of justice & equity.' 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for sometime has limited her prayer by stating that she would be satisfied, for the nonce, if a direction is issued to Commissioner of Police, Sonipat to consider and take a conscious decision on the representation dated 22.3.2026 made by the petitioner (copy whereof has been annexed as ASHWANI KUMAR 2026.03.25 18:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel has urged that he has no objection in case limited prayer made by the petitioner, for decision of her representation dated 22.3.2026 (Annexure P-2), is directed for. 4.

Having heard learned counsel for the rival party(s) and upon perusal of the paper-book, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the petition in hand with the following directions: (i) Commissioner of Police, Sonipat is mandated to look into the representation dated 22.3.2026 (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioner, objectively consider the grievance(s) raised therein & take ratiocinated decision thereupon within a period of 15 days from today. Said decision be conveyed to the petitioner within 7 days thereafter.

(ii) No order as to costs.
