By way of present petition filed under Section 482, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to official respondents to provide protection to life and property of petitioner especially at the time of harvesting of standing wheat crop over the land in question. 2.

Having argued for some time, learned counsel for petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke his remedies in accordance with law arrived in view of pendency of CWP-10710-2016 titled as "Gurmej Singh and Ors. Vs. Financial Commissioner Appeals Punjab and Ors." wherein, land, in question, is subject matter, arising out of partition proceedings pertaining to the same.
