(Oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent Nos. 4 to 6, as they performed marriage against the wishes of their parents.

This petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fategarh Sahib (Punjab), for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab, who will look into their representation dated 06.06.2021 (P-4).
