1. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to get representation dated 08.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner examined. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.

2. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 08.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) be sent to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, for necessary compliance.
