ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.90 dated 24.09.2017 registered under Section 304 IPC at Police Station Mallanwala, District Ferozepur and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of the compromise.

As per the report submitted by the trial Court, the complainant has not appeared and therefore, the genuineness of the compromise could not be ascertained as the statement of the complainant was not recorded.

Counsel appearing for the petitioner pleads no instructions. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file afresh petition if the parties still acknowledge the factum of compromise.
