(Oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent Nos. 4 & 5, as they performed marriage against the wishes of their parents.

This petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Mohali (Punjab), for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab, who will look into their representation dated 06.06.2021 (P-4).
