(Oral) As per reply dated 22.08.2016 filed on behalf of the respondent by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Abohar, District Fazilka, wherein it has been submitted that the petitioner is not an accused in FIR No.283 dated 28.09.2015, under Section 19 of the Seeds Act, Section 29 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 and Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station City-1, Abohar, District Fazilka, and the police has prepared the cancellation report on 30.03.2016 in the present FIR. In view of the reply filed on behalf of the respondent, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Dismissed as infructuous, at this stage.
In the eventuality of non-filing of cancellation report as asserted in the reply or non-acceptance thereof by the court, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the present petition.
