***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash impugned final result dated 10.03.2022 (Annexure P-3) for the post of Ophthalmic Assistant(Category No.8), to the extent of his non-selection under Economically Weaker Section Category.

After scrutiny of documents, final result was declared wherein the name of the petitioner featured in the waiting list at Sr.No.1 in EWS Category. His claim is that he has not been granted 5 additional marks under 'No government job' category despite his making declaration in the application form that no one from the petitioner's family is in Government job.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that in case a representation is moved by the petitioner, a decision will be taken by the competent authorityby passing a speaking order. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner would file his representation as suggested by learned state counsel. 5.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case a representation is moved by the petitioner, the same shall be looked into and the competent authority shall pass an administrative order as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
