The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.167 dated 20.04.2018 registered under Sections 354-D and 294 IPC at Police Station Sector 39, Chandigarh on the basis of compromise deed dated 19.07.2019 (Annexure P2) arrived at between the parties. 2.

On the last date of hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Even today, the petitioners remained unrepresented. 3.

Learned State counsel has informed that final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been already been filed and the matter is pending for 04.05.2024 before the trial Court for recording of statement of the prosecution witnesses. 4.

It appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the present case, as such, the present petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. 5.
