In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 2, 5 and 6 to initiate appropriate criminal proceedings against respondents No. 7 and 8, in accordance with law, keeping in view the enquiry conducted by respondent No. 3-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahar and other relevant documents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent No.5-Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar (Nawanshahar), is directed to decide the representations dated 12.07.2016 and 19.07.2017 (Annexure P-9 and P-10, respectively) moved by the petitioner. 3.
